Lets start with the cocktail hour. Make your hour of pre mingling and social hour interesting by spicing it up with an ice bar, yes a full bar made of ice or shrimp bar made of ice. Forget about just throwing those appetizers over ice cubes when you can add to your decoration with functional ice art!

The Potato Bar! Everybody loves a potato bar, it's filling and you can put all your favorites atop. At your catering consultation think about putting a spin on yours and having a sweet potato bar with all the fixings, brown sugar, marshmallows, butter, caramel... The possibles are endless!

So you ask, how do you tie in my catering with our wedding theme without it being too kitschy? If it is a holiday theme, serve up its traditional foods like for Christmas wedding having a red velvet flavored wedding cake instead of the traditional white cake. Jazz up a thanksgiving theme with single serve cornish hens and dressing, serve up mini burgers and fries for cocktail hour for a July fourth theme and the list is endless!
